Rainout – 8 August 2013 (Auburn)

I went to Auburn to attend my first Auburn Doubleday and NY-Penn League game. For most of my drive it was cloudy and, other than a few sprinkles, there was no rain. When I crossed into Auburn, a deluge of rain began that lasted for well over an hour. I was in town almost two hour prior to the start; I returned to the stadium 45 minutes to the scheduled start. As I pulled into the parking lot I noticed that employees were getting into their cars to leave. Nevertheless, I went to the box office just to make sure. Indeed the game was postpone.
